Why is the Right to Education important?

Human Rights Article 26 states:

Everyone has the right to an education. Education should be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace. Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.

Based on the data shown, the largest cause of unemployment rate is due to the fact that people don't have a high school diploma. A person can earn $10,000 more if they would have the diploma. People with some college experience but no degree make up 7.7% of the unemployment rate and they have a salary of about $39,000.

It's crucial for students to finish high school and try to have some college experience. It could help their knowledge and economic state. It's very hard for a New Yorker to live comfortable in those type of states.

As kids grow up, many of them don't learn to value the importance of education.
